Hello, to all residents of the District of Tobique Valley. My name is Gary Harding. As the councillor of Ward 2, I represent Public Works, Tobique Forestry, and the Cemetery Committee. Additionally, I serve as the Deputy Mayor, playing a crucial role in decision-making within the council. My responsibilities involve advocating for community needs, ensuring resource allocation for key sectors, and actively engaging with residents to contribute to the overall betterment of our local area.
Hi, to all residents in the District of Tobique Valley, I am Tony Wright, councillor in Ward 2 and in charge of parks and recreation. In today's hectic world, it's easy to forget that taking time to enjoy each day is so important to our health and well being. Our recreation department is committed to insuring that every resident has an opportunity to experience outstanding recreational activities and park facilities that enhance our quality of life by helping us stay healthy and fit, build relationships with family and friends, and develop a sense of community pride. So, drop by and see what we have to offer, there is something to offer for all ages.
I live in the Village of Plaster Rock and represent Ward 2 in the District of Tobique Valley. My portfolios include DFMS and TVMHS, the library, Emergency Measures, and Finance. In the two years that I have been a Councillor, my priority has always been the safety and well-being of the people who live in Plaster Rock and the surrounding area, which is now incorporated into the larger District. Moving forward, there will be both challenges and opportunities, but I am confident that the District Council will continue to prioritize the concerns and welfare of its citizens. I look forward to representing you for the next 3 years.
