As a councillor representing ward 1, I am proud to introduce myself as Laurie Barry-Kinney. My priorities are centered around Economic Development, Tourism, creating effective policies and by-laws and supporting Pond Hockey. I dedicated 2023 to learning, and now I am eager to put my knowledge to use. For 2024, my focus will be on unifying our wards, boosting tourism in our District and supporting the growth of new and existing businesses. I am always here to listen to any ideas and concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time.
My email is councillor.w1a@tobiquevalley.ca
My name is Joanne Michaud and I’m one of two councillors representing Ward 1. My areas of responsibility are – Health, Policies & By-Laws, and Christmas Committee. The health issue is a complex one. During my first year on Council, I have gained a solid understanding of the critical health needs of our District, and re-establishing the services we require will be my focus for 2024. Policies & By-Laws will also be reviewed, which I will do in partnership with our other Ward 1 Councillor.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me by phone or email – 506-356-2290 or councillor.w1b@tobiquevalley.ca
